About the Awards

The Greater Rome Board of REALTORS® is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers donating their time, energy and talent to make the association a successful organization. Each year, the Association takes the opportunity to recognize a few of these individuals with the following awards: REALTOR® of the Year, Humanitarian, Hall of Fame, and President's Award.

Award Nominations

Nominations for the awards listed below are appreciated. Nomination forms can be downloaded using the Nomination Form on our Applications & Forms page. All nominations will be presented to the Awards Committee and must submitted via an online form prior to their posted due date.

REALTOR® of the Year

The REALTOR® of the Year Award shall be presented to a REALTOR® member whose contributions to the Association, the real estate profession, and the community have been made through outstanding service, professionalism, and dedication. This award recognizes a member who has demonstrated REALTOR® spirit, upheld the principles of the Code of Ethics, promoted good real estate practices, and shown leadership through business accomplishments, civic involvement, and participation at the local, state, and national REALTOR® association levels. The nominee shall have established a standard of excellence that reflects positively on the REALTOR® organization, fellow members, clients, and the general public.

Humanitarian Award

The Humanitarian Award recognizes a REALTOR® or Affiliate member whose ongoing commitment to serving others has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the community. This award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication through volunteerism, charitable efforts, and community involvement, including initiatives that improve education, support youth, strengthen neighborhoods, or enhance the quality of life. Recipients exemplify compassion, leadership, and a spirit of service that reflects positively on the Association and the communities they serve. 

Hall of Fame Award

The Hall of Fame Award honors a distinguished REALTOR® member whose lasting contributions have made a significant impact on the Association, the real estate profession, and the community. This recognition celebrates individuals whose leadership, service, integrity, and dedication have helped shape the organization and inspire others throughout their career. Hall of Fame inductees exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and have established a legacy of excellence through their sustained commitment to the REALTOR® organization and the industry.
