October Market Brief – ROME Highlights

The October 2025 housing market in Floyd County showed a slight cooling compared to September. Sales volume totaled $26.6M, down 9.7% year-over-year and 12.3% below September. Units sold fell to 81, a 17.3% decline from last year and 20.6% lower than last month. 

The median sales price dipped to $260,000, though it still represented a 2.4% increase over October 2024, down 4.8% from September. New listings came in at 160, up 11.1% year-over-year but down 3.6% month-over-month. Active listings rose to 460, an increase of 26.7% from last year and 3.8% higher than September.
