January Market Brief – ROME Highlights

The January 2025 housing market in Floyd County saw mixed results. The median sales price rose 12.4% year-over-year to $250,000, while new listings increased 8.1%, and active listings jumped 54.3%, boosting inventory.

However, sales volume fell 8.3% year-over-year and 48.4% month-over-month, with units sold down 21.7% compared to last year. Seasonal trends contributed to a 66.3% rise in new listings from December and a slight 1.5% dip in active listings month-over-month.
