What Membership Means

Founded in 1988, the Greater Rome Board of REALTORS® (GRBOR) serves as a central source of information for our members. Our main focus is real estate education, promoting professionalism in our industry, and representing our REALTOR® members in legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the Greater Rome Board has exerted influence in civic affairs as a representative of a substantial segment of the business community across Floyd County.

GRBOR Membership provides a purpose, vision, and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing lifelong affiliations, an outlet for community involvement, and a means of defending the American dream of homeownership and private property rights. Members of the Greater Rome Board of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more, and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

Are You Representing Your Industry as a REALTOR®?

A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics, and is committed to Fair Housing. When joining the Greater Rome Board of REALTORS®, members automatically become members of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
