August Market Brief – ROME Highlights

The August 2025 housing market in Floyd County showed stronger momentum. Sales volume reached $29.2M, up 8.1% year-over-year and up 18.3% from July. Units sold rose 4.3% from last year to 96, holding steady month-over-month.

The median sales price climbed to $271,000, an 8.6% increase from last year and 12% higher than July. New listings edged down 3.8% year-over-year to 175, while active listings rose 33.6% to 441 and remained essentially unchanged month-over-month.
